Children's Park at Burnham

The Children's Park, though weathered and showing its age, has always been a wonderful place in my childhood memory and I also wish Jo-Lo to revel in the simple joys of the park. We went there a couple of times over the holidays and each time was a fun time for the family, although for both times we had a difficult time dragging Jo-Lo out. Hahaha!

The bike rides outside Children's Park is still as popular as ever.

There are two elephants by the entrance to the park. Before, these were simple, gray structures. Recently they were quite untidy and were largely ignored. But the park is being renovated, along with the painting of these elephants. And now they are happy to have kids climb them again, just like we did when we were kids!

Me and Jo-Lo enjoying the swing!
A variety of kids, street food, toys, and people roam the park. It's slowly getting a much-needed renovation. I do hope this continues and they continue adding other attractions.

Jo-Lo by the kiddie slides. This is a popular site, and hopefully this gets renovated soon too.
