Burnham Park under construction
A couple of weekends back, we were walking along Burnham Park when we were surprised that the fencing of the Children's playground has been turned down! I have read about this in the local paper and I am both happy and sad about this: happy because many of the playthings in the park is in dire need of renovation, and sad because the Children's Park I grew up with is now going to change. But for the better, I hope.
So... here's our tax pesos at work, eh?
Fencing has been removed
I wonder if the elephants which stood at the entrance for soooo many years now will be spared and become part of the new Children's Park?

Sana, they still keep the park fenced along Kisad Road. When I played in that park when I was a child, I felt protected because of the fences. Hindi pa uso ang mga drug addicts noon and you know that you have to stay closer to the adults when you see one climbing up the fences along that road.
And then Venus Hotel got erected and I felt safer because that backroad became populated somehow. I used to work in that Midland building as well. Sheesh..I didn't realize I roamed around Baguio and its neighboring towns then.
