The perfect time for gardening

The plants are looking good so far. In fact, the potatoes have sprouted already. The tomato plant in the sun room currently has two green "berries" as well. Looks really good! This progress has really motivated me to look after the garden when I come home after work even if it's just for a wee while.

I have also decided to come up with a small patch of herbs in the garden. Not the sensitive ones (like the basil, which unfortunately perished during the winter months). I currently have sage which I bought recently, as well as baby onion leaves (forgot what this is really called) that was sitting in the sun room but I think it now needs more space to grow because the dried-up leaves have clumped up.

I also have rosemary in a separate container but still pondering if I will plant it here as well because it can grow to unmanageable proportions and overshadow the other herbs.

Will research on other hardy herbs that I can plant here. But if you have suggestions, I'd love to hear from you here or in Facebook!

PS additional reference for sage I would like to read up on at - surprise! - the Washington Post
