Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror

I was just browsing through the books covers in the library when this one caught my eye.  The cover art reminded me of Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book which I thoroughly enjoyed.  And something about the cover art made me want to grab it and start reading.  Which I did.

This clever book by Chris Priestly is a collection of short stories as told by Uncle Montague to his nephew.  If you have a vivid imagination, this book will make you cringe.  I especially like the story about the tree and the blind old lady.  Oh, I also remember this other huge tree with the kid climbed and...

But I simply mustn't give away any plot!  If you are a fan of the otherworldly and the macabre, this book is for you.  Uncle Montague's Tales of Terror is a delightful read, in a squeamish kind of way.
